Due to ongoing financial challenges, we regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to close our Cylch Nursery.

As many of you know, we have faced significant financial pressures over the past two years, and despite our best efforts, we are no longer able to raise the substantial funds required to continue operating.

We are deeply saddened that we have reached this point, but we sincerely hope you will continue to support the local school. We remain incredibly grateful for the unwavering support, generosity, and commitment shown by our community over the years. Your contributions have meant more than words can express.

This week our After School Club have been engrossed in yoga, cake baking, crafts, duplo play, outdoor play and much more!

Yr wythnos hon mae ein Clwb Ar ôl Ysgol wedi bod yn brysur yn gwneud ioga, pobi cacennau, crefftau, chwarae duplo, chwarae yn yr awyr agored a llawer mwy!

The children had a wonderful week last week, planting flowers, crafts, messy play, gruffalo tuff tray, sand play, reading, small world play, treasure hunt, using fine motor skills, fancy dress and much more.

Cafodd y plant wythnos hyfryd yr wythnos diwethaf, yn plannu blodau, crefftau, chwarae blêr, hambwrdd tyff gruffalo, chwarae â thywod, darllen, chwarae byd bach, helfa drysor, defnyddio sgiliau echddygol manwl, gwisgoedd ffansi a llawer mwy.

WORLD BOOK DAY FUN: GRUFFALO CRUMBLE TUFF TRAY
We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day with a Gruffalo Crumble messy-play tuff tray! The children explored textures, scents, colours and imaginative play as they recreated scenes from the story in their own way.
WE USE BOOKS EVERY DAY
At Cylch Meithrin we don’t just bring books out for World Book Day — stories are part of our daily sessions. Books help children to:
• Build language and early communication skills
• Grow their imagination and creativity
• Develop listening and attention
• Strengthen early literacy foundations
• Connect with emotions, characters and the world around them

Sharing stories brings children together, encourages conversations, and supports learning across all areas of development. Whether it’s at circle time, in play areas, outdoors, or during quiet moments, books help spark curiosity and confidence.

Cawsom amser gwych yn dathlu Diwrnod y Llyfr gyda hambwrdd TWFF chwarae blêr Crymbl Gruffalo! Archwiliodd y plant weadau, arogleuon, lliwiau a chwarae dychmygus wrth iddynt ail-greu golygfeydd o'r stori yn eu ffordd eu hunain.

Yn y Cylch Meithrin nid ydym yn unig yn dod â llyfrau allan ar gyfer Diwrnod y Llyfr - mae straeon yn rhan o'n sesiynau dyddiol. Mae llyfrau'n helpu plant i:

Mae rhannu straeon yn dod â phlant at ei gilydd, yn annog sgyrsiau, ac yn cefnogi dysgu ar draws pob maes datblygiad. Boed yn ystod amser cylch, mewn mannau chwarae, yn yr awyr agored, neu yn ystod eiliadau tawel, mae llyfrau'n helpu i danio chwilfrydedd a hyder.

This Friday’s After School Club have been cooking up some Chinese noodles using a pan, spoon and hob, learning about the safety of ovens and cookers, built with lego and duplo blocks and much more.

Mae Clwb Ar ôl Ysgol ddydd Gwener yma wedi bod yn coginio nwdls Tsieineaidd gan ddefnyddio padell, llwy a hob, yn dysgu am ddiogelwch ffyrnau a chogyddion, wedi’u hadeiladu gyda blociau lego a duplo a llawer mwy.
