The flagship Rescue 3 courses are Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT), Rope Rescue Technician (RRT) and Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Boat Operator (SFRBO). Rescue 3 also offers supporting courses, offering awareness qualifications, through to advanced technician and management-level qualifications.

A great example of multi-agency working, to rescue a kayaker near our head office in Llangollen, North Wales. Well done to the members of North East Wales Search and Rescue, Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru, North Wales Police, and of course those paddling who were first there.

Congratulations to Simon Hansen from R3 Norge who has completed the process of becoming a Rescue 3 Europe Instructor Trainer. Simon has been a highly regarded multi-discipline instructor for nearly 15 years, and we're delighted to welcome him to the highest levels of Rescue 3 qualification.
