More and more education settings are now offering childcare, which unfortunately means that small childminding settings simply cannot compete with the prices offered by larger settings.
Within my small network of childminders, we have all chosen to go through the process of registering with Flying Start so that we can help keep costs down for our parents. But even with the reduction in fees this provides, we still cannot compete with the prices of the bigger settings.
What we can guarantee though, is something incredibly special. ❤️
The children in our care are loved, nurtured and cared for as though they are part of our own family. They have amazing adventures, explore the world around them, get muddy, make memories, and most importantly, they are given the freedom to simply live their childhood as children.
We may be small settings, but what we provide is so much more than childcare. We provide a home-from-home, a safe space, a sense of belonging and relationships that truly matter.
And that is something we will always be incredibly proud of. 🥰
