An autumn-themed tuff tray for children is a wonderful sensory activity that brings the season to life through hands-on exploration. The tray can be filled with natural materials like crunchy leaves, pinecones, acorns, and small pumpkins, allowing children to touch, smell, and observe different textures and colours 🐿🌲🍂

Autumn is here, and it's a great time to explore the new season. As the leaves change colour to red, orange, and yellow, why not go out to the park to collect beautiful leaves? We can make a colourful collage with them at school or at home.

Pencil management skills are essential for children as they develop their ability to write and draw. These skills help children to get a proper grip on the pencil, as well as being able to control the precise movements necessary to form letters and shapes. By practicing pencil control, children can improve their hand-eye coordination, hand strength, and accuracy when writing. Activities such as tracing lines, shading, and following patterns are a great way to develop these skills in a fun and practical way.

Here at Ser Bach, we believe that children gain a lot from going out for walks with the staff and their friends into the community. We encorgae this as it benefits the children to socialise in the community and develops their communication skills 🩵 ⭐️

Alisha Rowlands- Alisha has worked with us since January 2024. She has gained so much knowledge and confidence since she has started with us and is a great asset to our Ser Bach team.
