Summer is always full of little training gaps but it’s been great that they’re getting back into training after the bank holiday - nice busy classes this week. Back to school this week and back to regular training again! Love it 🥰. Can’t wait to see the first day at school pics 🤣

Thanks to all in Shrewsbury today! Theme was “How to Train Naihanchi / Tekki” which included flow drills, pad drills and live drills. We covered a lot and I am most grateful for everyone’s hard work and enthusiasm. Thank you!

Warrior Spirit Martial Arts has just earned TWO national recognitions from BMABA (the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association):

✅ Club Colours Certified�✅ Regulation Ready Gold - The top tier

So what does that actually mean for you and your kids? An independent body has checked our safeguarding, instructor vetting, insurance, first aid, and how we run things behind the scenes, and more, and confirmed we're meeting the highest standards in UK martial arts. Club Colours also brings automatic recognition under the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts, which is backed by Sport England, so we now appear on the national register parents can use to check a club is the real deal.
Only a small number of clubs across the country hold Club Colours, and Gold is the highest grade that goes on to Regulation Ready. We don't chase these for the badges. We do it because every family who walks through our doors deserves to know they're in safe, capable hands.

Last week, our instructor team was back training - but not on kata. Si ran a full First Aid at Work course for Jon and Alice, because being a good instructor is about far more than knowing how to throw a punch.

Well done to both of them for getting recertified. It's serious stuff (you'd want us to know exactly what to do if something ever went wrong in class) - but we still managed to have a laugh doing it. 🧤

Every one of our instructors is trained, certified and regularly updated in:
