Many Tears Equestrian The Equestrian Centre at Many Tears Animal Rescue
Reg Charity #1192227 Please note that this is not a riding school and little or no riding will be involved.

After years of admiration and a love of horses Sylvia (who runs the rescue) wanted to do something to help the plight of unwanted and mistreated equines as well as educate children about caring for them. In addition to this we also have a group for adults who are struggling or feeling lonely. Here you can meet like-minded people in a supportive environment to spend some time with horses, grooming horses, walking ponies, learning about horses and care, getting some fresh air and a well needed break from real life. Those who have attended the courses have found they have overcome things they have struggled with in the past, the children course have built confidence and some of the most amazing, courageous, determined, kind people have attended them and still do on a regular basis. We have resident rescued horses that love attention and in turn teach the public about their needs and minds.

FRIDAY & TRUFFLE ARE SEARCHING FOR THEIR PERFECT HOME ❤️

Our lovely donkeys, Friday and Truffle, are looking for their forever home together as a bonded pair.

Born here at the rescue after their mums were rescued while pregnant, these boys have grown up together and are now ready to begin their next chapter in a loving forever home.

Both donkeys are very sweet, affectionate and well handled. They have also lived happily in mixed herds alongside horses and ponies.

We are looking for a donkey-experienced home with appropriate donkey-safe turnout, suitable stabling or shelter, and hardstanding to keep them comfortable during wet weather.

Could you offer Friday and Truffle the forever home they deserve? ❤️

Please visit their profiles and complete an adoption application form if you’re interested in adopting these special boys 🏡💕

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of legendary horse trainer Monty Roberts.

Monty dedicated his life to changing the way people understand and work with horses, championing kind and compassionate training methods. His innovative approach inspired countless horse owners and professionals around the world.

Here at Many Tears Equestrian, his influence can be seen in so much of what we do. From using Dually headcollars to incorporating methods such as Join-Up and prioritising trust, communication, and understanding in our training, his work has helped shape the way we care for and work with our horses.

Thank you, Monty, for everything you have done for horses and the people who love them. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
