At IntroTeach/CyfleDysgu, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate one of our amazing consultants, Gethin Thomas, on a truly outstanding achievement. 👏
Gethin has dedicated his career to education, beginning as a teacher before going on to become Headteacher at Llangyndeyrn, Nantgaredig and Dewi Sant schools. He also spent several years as an Education Consultant for Carmarthenshire and has long been a passionate advocate for Welsh education, including serving as Chair of CDAG. His knowledge, experience and commitment make him an invaluable part of our team, and we’re so grateful to have him supporting both our office and our staff every day.
This week, Gethin will receive one of the highest honours awarded by the National Eisteddfod – being made a Fellow of the National Eisteddfod of Wales 🏆 on Tuesday, 4th August at 2:30pm. A fitting recognition of his years of dedication to education, the Welsh language and the Eisteddfod.
Congratulations, Gethin, from everyone at IntroTeach/CyfleDysgu. We hope you enjoy every moment of this special occasion – it’s an honour that’s thoroughly deserved, and we’re so proud to have you as part of our team. 💙
Yma yn Introteach/Cyfledysgu, ni’n hynod o falch i ddathlu cyflawniad rhagorol un on Ymgynghorwyr ni, sef Gethin Thomas.
Mae Gethin wedi bod yn ymroddedig yn y maes addysg ers blynyddoedd bellach, wedi dechrau fel athro ond hefyd wedi bod yn Brifathro ar ysgolion Llangyndeyrn, Nantgaredig a Dewi Sant. Cyflawnodd sawl blwyddyn hefyd fel Ymgynghorydd Addysg Sir Gaerfyrddin ac bu’n eiriolwr brwdfrydig dros yr Iaith Gymraeg ym myd addysg wrth fod yn Gadeirydd ar CDAG. Mae ei ystod eang o wybodaeth, profiad mewn gwahanol feysudd a’i ymrwymiad yn rhoi unigrwydd dihafal iddo. Ni’n hynod o ffodus i’w gael yn cefnogoi’r swyddfa a’r staff yn ddyddiol.
Wythnos yma, caiff Gethin ei anrhydeddu wrth dderbyn yr anrhydedd fwyaf gall yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol rhoi wrth cael ei ethol fel Cymrawd yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol ar dydd Mawrth 4ydd Awst am 2:30yp. Cydnabyddiaeth briodol am flynyddoedd lawer o ymroddiad llwyr tuag at addysg, y iaith Gymraeg a’r Eisteddfod.
