🌈✨ Under 2's Messy & Sensory Play Fun! ✨🌈

Last week we had a wonderful time at our Under 2's Messy & Sensory Play session! Thank you to everyone who came along – we hope you and your little one had as much fun as we did. 💚

There were so many exciting activities for our toddlers to explore, including:
🧊 Ice and fruit play
🍦 An ice cream sensory tray
🎨 Colouring ice lollies
🧸 Washing the dollies
🥁 Exploring musical instruments
🧣 Dancing with colourful scarves

Messy and sensory play is a fantastic way for young children to explore different textures, colours and sounds while supporting their early development through play.

We loved seeing so many happy faces enjoying the activities, and we can't wait to welcome you back to another session soon!

🏅🌟 Over 3's Sports Day Success! 🌟🏅

What a fantastic morning we had celebrating our Over 3's Sports Day at Myrtle House Nursery! The children had so much fun taking part in a variety of exciting races, showing great determination, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the event.

From speedy running races and the egg and spoon race to balancing hoops on their heads, every child gave their very best and thoroughly enjoyed joining in. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another and celebrating each other's achievements.

Thank you to all our families who came along to cheer on the children. Your support made the day even more special, and we loved seeing so many of you getting involved in the parent race – there were certainly plenty of smiles and laughter! 😊

We are incredibly proud of all of our children for taking part with such confidence and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful way to celebrate being active, building friendships and having fun together.

Well done, everyone! 🎉🏆

REMINDER
📚 Our Home School Library is Open! 📚
We love encouraging a lifelong love of reading, which is why our Home School Library Shelf is available for all of our children to enjoy!
Children are welcome to choose a book from the shelf, let a member of staff know which one they have selected, and then take it home to share with their family for the week.
Reading together is a wonderful way to build language, imagination, confidence, and precious family moments. We can't wait to hear all about the stories our children have been enjoying when they return their books and choose another adventure!

🏅🌞 Sports Day Fun at Myrtle House Nursery! 🌞🏅

Yesterday, our children had a fantastic time taking part in Sports Day in the gardens at Myrtle House Nursery! There were plenty of exciting races, including running races, the classic egg and spoon race, balancing hoops on their heads, and the ever-popular "put the teddy in the hoop" challenge. 🏃🥚🧸

It was a wonderful day filled with smiles, laughter and lots of encouragement as the children enjoyed taking part and cheering on their friends.

A huge thank you to all the parents and families who came along to support the children, and an extra special thank you to everyone who joined in with our parent race – it certainly brought plenty of laughs and was enjoyed by everyone! 😊

We're already looking forward to doing it all again on Friday for another fun-filled Sports Day!
