Today, Mr Davies attended a networking event in Llanelli, where he was able to meet with local business owners, entrepreneurs and representatives from a range of different organisations and companies from across Carmarthenshire. 🤝

Our new curriculum in Pentip focuses on providing our learners with opportunities to develop the necessary skills and qualities to be successful in the current world we live in. Adapting and applying skills to solve real world problems and giving them the skills to make informed decisions.

We are very hapoy to announce that in June the school will present at a conference in Llanelly House hosted by Felicity Healy-Benson as part of the Harmonious Heroes Project aimed to develop Entrepreneurship in young learners by making a positive change. Some of the representatives met today will play a key role in helping the children achieve their project goals ❤️👏

We are super excited to share the journey with you 🌍

Talent in Pentip 🤸‍♀️

Today, the children in Pentip were treated to a very special gymnastics performance by one of our very own pupils.
This young lady has been selected to be part of the Welsh gymnastics squad where she recently travelled all the way to Spain to compete in the highest competition level of her journey so far.

The children and staff were in awe of her flawless moves and we are very grateful we got to witness her routine.

A big round of applause and well done 🎉 Olympics... she's coming for you 💪❤️

Today, our Sgwad Iaith pupils had the opportunity to meet with a representative from Estyn. 📋✅️
The pupils presented what work the team and school had been doing over the last 18 months to develop attitudes and engagement with languages within our school.
With the ethos 'Languages Connect Us' they described the changes they and the school had made to promote the languages within our school/ community and share their ideas and plans for further developing languages in Pentip. Our aim is for children to enjoy learning languages in a fun and creative way, expanding their scope and communication capabilities and applying them to real-life contexts.
Pentip was chosen as just 1 of 12 schools from across Wales to review, having demonstrated excellent practice shared.
We look forward to sharing with you the exciting ideas the Sgwad Iaith have in store.
I want to say a big thank you to Sgwad Iaith, the Pentip Team and our parents and community for making this opportunity available to us.

Drum Kit for Sale.

We have a new, in the box drumkit as seen in the pictures attached. Unfortunately we have no provision for it in school and we'd like to see it go to an owner that will make very good use out of it.

Mr Hyde and Mr Davies did contemplate starting a band but unfortunately our vocals were a little off to make a career move 🤣

If you'd be interested in purchasing the drumkit please message us privately with a sensible offer and we can arrange for you to view it before you take it away.
