RIP Inky
Our beautiful grey lady who we’ve known since a foal has crossed the rainbow.
Those of you who received her magical healing will understand just what a special lady she was.
At the start of a session we always ask which horse you feel greatest connection with, but the reality is the horse will choose and want to work with you and it might not be the one you think you connect with.
Inky had an uncanny knack of supporting and connecting with folks who have illness or been through medical trauma. As a youngster she had an operation and lengthy rehabilitation so understood and had incredible empathy which always had a deep connection with who her person was.
Inky we salute your strength and your steadfastness and send you on your way with love and gratitude.

The joys from creating Kintsgi

I was lucky enough to receive an original Kintsgi (pronounced Kin-segi) piece this Christmas from Japan which I am thrilled with. I’ve always been strangely drawn to this Japanese art where cracks are embellished during the repair process with gold or resin to transform them into new beauty.

It’s apt for me, as when I take time to reflect, I realise that my greatest shifts and insights have come from things that have scarred me. My spiritual growth has developed from the learning in preference to trying to hide, or what i was so good at doing, “papering over the cracks”.

My new piece reminds me that those scars whether visible or not contain innate beauty.
