Weather stopped play the previous academic year but during the lockdown, we were blessed with many clear nights and lots of landmark astronomical events. Venus Pleiades conjunction, many clear nights with the moon in the sky, Jupiter getting very bright, a naked eye comet and noctilucent clouds. Jupiter, Saturn and Mars are in a good position for some photography over the next few months so watch this space!
