Did anyone watch the pottery Throw down last night?
I was delighted to see them making Noah’s Arks because it reminded me of the ark I made 25/6 years ago.
This was before I was an illustrator, before I’d even gone to university. I was living in west wales with a toddler and my evening out each week at pottery class kept me sane. It was my pottery pals who talked me into applying for an art foundation course and supported me through it, then encouraged me to apply for uni.
This ark was one of the last things I made in that class and one of the last things I made until I restarted pottery 6 or 7 years ago
