You know what you need to do. You've even broken it into steps. But you still can't start. 😔

This week's 'Neuroble Insights' tackles WHY 'just break it down' isn't enough for neurodivergent brains - and the 3-minute rule that actually works.

Sometimes the gentlest approach is the most powerful one.

60 is the magic number!

Your brain is changing all the time.

Every day, your brain:
Forms new connections
Strengthens pathways you use often (good and bad!)
Adapts to what you practise
Updates itself from experience

So:
💫 The organising skill you struggle with? Learnable.
💫 Focus challenges? Can improve.
💫 Overwhelm? Manageable.
💫 EF gaps? Buildable.

You’re not stuck with today’s skill set. With the right approach, structure, and consistent repetition, your brain changes.

Did you know that you often need to complete ~60 reps before a behaviour starts to feel automatic.

Weekend micro-challenge: pick one tiny EF action. Do it once a day for a week. Track your reps (aim for lots, not perfect).

What will you strengthen first? Tell me below

💙 Midweek Wisdom: Real stories of brain change!

I love hearing about the moments when people realise new strategies can become habit. Here are some recent wins for clients:
(All names have been changed to ensure anonymity)

Sarah: "I actually REMEMBERED to check my calendar this morning without 5 phone alarms. I'm finally starting to build that habit!"

Tom: "The strategies we have been working on are making a big difference to my ability to manage change"

What I love about these stories:
✨ None of these changes happened overnight - For many people it takes around 60 reps before a behaviour starts to feel automatic
✨ Each person found strategies that worked with their unique brain and way of working
✨ The improvements became sustainable because they have built new neural pathways
✨ Small changes led to big confidence boosts

Your brain is capable of amazing change too. It just needs the right approach, consistent practice (think 60), and patience with the process.

Community question: Have you noticed your brain "learning" a new skill or strategy recently? Share your wins - big or small! 🎉

🧠 Your brain is literally reshaping itself right now!

This is neuroplasticity in action - and it's happening every time you learn something new! ✨

What's happening in your brain:
🔗 New neural connections forming
🛤️ Pathways strengthening with practice
⚡ Old patterns being replaced
🎯 Networks becoming more efficient

For executive function skills:
→ Every time you use a new strategy, those neural pathways get stronger
→ Each successful organisation system builds brain efficiency
→ Practice literally rewires your brain for better EF skills

The coolest part?
You can CHOOSE which pathways to strengthen by choosing which skills to practice!

Try this: Pick one EF skill you'd like to develop and try a small new strategy (like using a timer for tasks).
Practice it for one week.
Notice how it gets easier - that's your brain rewiring! 🧠⚡

What strategy are you going to practice? Drop a comment! 👇

💙 Feel Good Friday: Let's talk about REAL progress 💙

This week I want to celebrate something we don't talk about enough - messy, imperfect, beautifully human progress.

Real progress looks like:
🌟 Remembering to take your medication 4 days out of 7
(not perfect, but SO much better than 0)
🌟 Getting to work only 10 minutes late instead of 30
🌟 Having one really good day in a tough week
🌟 Asking for help instead of struggling alone
🌟 Trying a new strategy, even if it doesn't work perfectly

Here's what I wish someone had told me earlier: Progress isn't a straight line going up. It's more like a scribble that generally trends in the right direction.

Your scribble is beautiful.
Every attempt matters.
Every small step counts.
Every time you show up for yourself - even if it's messy - you're winning.

Weekend reflection question:
What's one piece of "imperfect progress" you made this week that deserves celebration?

Share it below - let's celebrate our beautiful, messy, human journeys together! 🎉

🌟 Tip Thursday: Building ND-friendly routines that actually stick!

Struggling with routines? You're not alone! Here's how to create routines that work WITH your neurodivergent brain:

✨ **Make it flexible** - "Morning routine" doesn't mean the same 10 things in the same order every day

✨ **Start stupidly small** - Want a reading habit? Start with 1 page, not 1 chapter

✨ **Stack with existing habits** - Add new routine to something you already do automatically

✨ **Track feelings, not just completion** - How did this routine make you feel? Good feelings = sustainable habits

✨ **Plan for disruption** - What's your "bare minimum" version for tough days?

**This week's challenge:** Pick ONE tiny routine element. Do it for 3 days. Notice how it feels. Adjust as needed.

Remember: The goal isn't perfection - it's creating sustainable support for your brain!

What routine has been a game-changer for you? Share your wins! 🎉
