📣 DONATIONS WANTED – CAN YOU HELP OUR PLAYGROUP? 🥣🍰🫖

We are looking for some pre-loved kitchen and household items to help extend the children’s learning and develop our role-play, baking, sensory and real-life play experiences.

Before throwing anything away or taking it to the charity shop, please think of us! ♻️

We are currently looking for:

✨ Large jars with lids

✨ Wooden rolling pins

✨ Wooden chopping boards

✨ Flour/sugar shakers

✨ Kitchen scales

✨ Teapots

✨ Colanders

✨ Muffin/cupcake trays

✨ Old kettles

✨ Old toasters

✨ An old microwave

The kettle, toaster and microwave do NOT need to be working – they will only be used for imaginative play and the plugs will be removed.

We would be so grateful for any donations.

Thanks you're supporting our playgroup.

Playgroup is now closed for the summer holidays and will resume on Wednesday 12th August.

** Playgroup Spaces Update **

If any parents or carers are looking for a space at playgroup, you are still welcome to send your child’s details by email to:

[email protected]

Please be aware that we currently have a very long waiting list.

I will not be working through the waiting list until after the summer holidays. This is because we need to wait for pupil placement to confirm nursery places for our current children, so we know exactly how many spaces we will have available.

I know many families are very keen for updates, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thank you, Crofthead Team.

A huge thank you to Morrisons, Tesco , Londis Dedridge Shop and Crofthead Community Centre Committee for your kind donation of Easter treats for the children. 🐣

Your generosity and support helped make Easter extra special for the kids, and we are so grateful for your donations 🍫

Tomorrow is our last day before we break off for the Easter holidays. We hope everyone has a lovely Easter break, and playgroup will resume on Tuesday 14th April 🐰

06/02/2026

Just a reminder that we will be closed next week for the February break.

Playgroup will resume on Tuesday 17th February 2026.

We hope everyone has a lovely break and we look forward to seeing you all when we return.

For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that buggies and strollers are not left in the hall.

Space is limited, and the hall must remain clear at all times to allow safe access to fire exits.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
