Our team at First Step Robotics was delighted to be invited to the Scottish Parliament by MSP Pauline Stafford to discuss our vision for bringing robotics and technology education to more young people in West Lothian and across Scotland.

We had a fantastic meeting and are excited about the opportunities ahead.

A huge thank you to our dedicated volunteers, engineers and software professionals who have given their time and expertise for over two years to help young people learn, create and explore robotics.

We’re looking forward to reaching even more young people and helping build Scotland’s next generation of engineers, innovators and technology leaders.

Another Win for First Step Robotics!

Our team member Kanav’s AirLink UAV System has won the Health Category at the TeenTech Awards 2026 in London!

This innovative system of aircraft features an autonomous delivery mechanism with temperature sensors designed to support the safe delivery of medicine.

The project also received fantastic feedback from BBC Dragons’ Den presenter and economist Evan Davis.

More drone workshops are coming soon, led by passionate drone enthusiasts, with a strong focus on safe, responsible and compliant drone flying.
