Face masks, buffs or face shields must be worn during lessons and please allow time for sanitisation between lessons.

Samuel performed very well at the showcase, despite originally saying he was too nervous to play. He recently did his trinity initial exam and was awarded distinction. 😁😁😁

I didn’t get a video of Vishnu playing at the showcase so am posting this one taken during his last lesson. Vishnu recently played his trinity initial exam and was awarded distinction (95%!!!). We are currently working through the first Scales and Chords book published by the fabers and some fun songs while also working on improving technique. Vishnu is amazingly focused in lessons and works extremely hard every week. He has been learning for less than a year!

Summer Showcase 2023: A few of my little ones are working through their “My First Piano Adventure Books” where students have fun with music while building good foundations for the future. At our showcase, Hannah played “Monsieur Mouse” and “Old Pig Donald” showing that she is familiar with crotchets, minims and semibreves and can locate the notes CDE on the keys. Her hand shape is also excellent for this level of playing.

Below is a video of me playing one of the pieces from the lovely BigTime piano series that serves as a supplementary series for the Piano Adventures Level 4. As you can see, these pieces are great for performance and help students to grow in confidence as they play pieces that they recognise and enjoy. This is just one of the many pieces that children may enjoy learning in their lessons with me.

Book your piano, violin and recorder lessons with me. Limited time slots available. Lessons are suitable for beginners between the ages of 4 and 12. If your aspiring young musician would like to join with a friend, I also offer double lessons. I only have Mondays available for lessons in Livingston North.
Price List:
One to One Lessons, 1 hour: £30
One to One Lessons, 45 minutes: £22.50
One to One Lessons, 30 minutes: £15
Double up Lessons, 1 hour: £18 per student
Double up Lessons, 45 minutes: £13.50 per student
