This morning we collected some wild blackberries for some painting. We had to be careful as brambles have spiky leaves. We looked at the different colours of berries and how the red ones were not ripe yet. After lunch we made paint by squashing all the blackberries. It made a lovely purple colour to paint with.

We had a lovely week enjoying the sunshine. We cheered for D & L at sports day, we visited the reservoir, we were invited to a pool party with our friends and we had a morning at the farm.
We said goodbye to C as he heads off on his new adventure to nursery. We will all miss him lots.

We were very lucky to have Cool Creatures visit us at toddlers this morning. It’s not every day u get to see a skunk 🦨 a bearded dragon, an armadillo, tortoise and a snake 🐍 up close. We loved learning a little about each animal and of course giving them a little stroke and cuddle.

This morning we went to Almondell to see if the tadpoles had grown. There were lots of them and they had grown bigger and had legs. We were very gentle with them and put them back in their home once we had observed them.

We also found a beautiful rhododendron tree its petals made the prettiest hideout to play in.

A very lovely morning enjoying our beautiful local area.
