Once voting begins, $1 donated to your Extra Life page = 1 vote for your game!

The top 5 winners will each receive a $500 donation to their local hospital, plus a gamer prize pack!

It’s with deep appreciation and a heavy heart that we share the news that Code Ninjas Livingston will be closing on June 30, 2025.

This decision has not been made lightly. Since opening, we’ve had the honour of watching the children explore coding, unlock creativity, and grow in confidence week by week, belt by belt. The enthusiasm and support from families have meant the world to us.

Unfortunately, due to rising operating costs that we can no longer absorb or fairly pass on, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the centre at the end of June.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of the ninja’s learning journey. Though this chapter is closing, we hope the skills and memories created here will last for years to come.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our incredible staff, who are the beating heart of what we do at Code Ninjas. They are the best! I’m personally delighted to share that they will continue their amazing work at our Edinburgh location, continuing to inspire and support young coders every day.

Let's talk loops. In coding, loops are a way to make something repeat. Kinda like your fave dance move, but in code. Coding loops are used to build games and solve problems with fewer lines of code - no point in reinventing the wheel, right?

Kids already use loops more than you might realize - brushing their teeth, tying shoes, practicing piano - it's all repeat logic. Thinking in loops helps them learn to automate, better optimize their time, and understand how to think ahead.

In life and code, knowing what to loop is everything!
