🌟 💙 The children are back! 💙 🌟
Today we welcomed our pupils back to school and what a fantastic start it has been. Our corridors are once again filled with smart uniforms, smiley faces and excited chatter as everyone returns ready for the year ahead.

A very special welcome goes to all of our new pupils and families joining the Norristhorpe community. We are so pleased to have you as part of Team Norristhorpe and can't wait to see you thrive and flourish with us. We are still excited to meet our new Reception Group B children this afternoon.

We are looking forward to a year full of learning, friendships, opportunities and success as we continue to grow together.
2026-2027 academic year, we're coming to get you! 💙

We have some very exciting news to share… our lovely Miss Hoyle said “I do!” 💕🥂
She tied the knot in beautiful Italy and we couldn’t be happier for her and her new husband! 🇮🇹❤️
We’re looking forward to welcoming her back to Norristhorpe for the new term — although we’ll have to get used to calling her Mrs Halloway! 🥰

🎉🕺 We had a fantastic time last night at our Year 6 Leavers' Disco, with 6H and 6O dancing, laughing and partying the night away in style! ✨🎶
It was a brilliant way to celebrate the end of an amazing primary school journey, with plenty of smiles, moves on the dance floor and memories to last a lifetime. 💃🎈

Year 6 enjoyed a well-earned ice cream or lolly yesterday - one of the treats they chose to spend their £5 Challenge earnings on! 🍦☀️

With the sun shining, it was the perfect way to celebrate all of their hard work and success. Safe to say they all enjoyed it... and even the Year 6 teachers couldn't resist joining in! 😄

Here they are... our Class of 2026 leavers! 🎓✨

Today marks the end of an important chapter as our amazing Year 6 pupils say goodbye to Norristhorpe. We are so proud of each and every one of them and all they have achieved during their time with us.

From first days and new friendships to memorable moments and wonderful achievements, they have left their mark on our school and will always be part of the Norristhorpe family.

As they hold their Last Day of Norristhorpe signs, we're reminded just how much they've grown and how bright their futures are. We wish them every success, happiness and adventure as they move on to their next chapter.

Today we also say goodbye to some other Norristhorpe Legends. We wish Mrs Smith, Mrs Bailey, Mr Hillam and Mrs Stead all the very best for the future and thank them for everything they have given to our school community. 💙
