The children have looked at influential women through history, learned about women who have excelled in their chosen fields, and learned about those who have suffered for their voice.
We learned what equality means and how we can all strive to be our best.
We then made a card for our most influential woman in our lives too!!

Samhain aka Halloween theme is happening in strawberry violet daycare this month. Lots of EYFS child led play will be happening with different activities been set out through out the day focusing on fine motor skills, counting and imagination play.
adults will be educating the children about the facts surrounding Halloween, paganisms, Shamanism , extending our learning onto discussions based on people who we loved and lost. And the Christian theory of eternity , meaning when life ends here , it continues somewhere else.

Afternoon everyone . We have been quiet on this platform but will aim to start giving people more of an insight into our daycare and what we are getting up to. Keep eyes pealed for our Halloween month with EYFS activities that we have prepared for the little ones. Exciting , educational and spooky photos to follow in the upcoming week. We look forward to sharing different learning techniques and ideas we have come up with as a team that will help progress each individual child with their milestones targets - Strawberry Violets Daycare staff.
