We were so proud to host the National Undergraduate Oncology Conference at the Guild of Students, University of Liverpool. Thank you for taking a chance on us and trusting us with such a special event.

It was incredible to welcome students from across the North West and beyond, alongside inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and so many people passionate about oncology. ✨

This conference was made possible through the collaboration of multiple university societies who came together as the NUOC committee, and we’d like to give a special thank you to everyone who dedicated months of hard work behind the scenes to bring this event to life.

A huge thank you as well to our speakers, workshop leads and attendees for making the day so memorable.

We’re also so proud to have hosted this event in support of North West Cancer Research and can’t wait to see what comes next.

See you next year 🩵

Charm Bracelet Making Session – A Space to Reflect and Connect

Liverpool Women in Medicine X Liverpool Oncology Society

This free charm bracelet making session is open to medical students who have been personally affected by cancer or who are currently undertaking oncology or palliative care placements. Working in these areas can be both meaningful and emotionally challenging, and this event aims to provide a relaxed and supportive space to pause, reflect, and connect with others who may share similar experiences.

During the session, students will have the opportunity to create their own charm bracelet, choosing from a range of beads and charms that can represent personal reflections, memories, or simply something creative and enjoyable. No crafting experience is needed — the focus is on taking time for yourself, meeting others, and engaging in a calm, informal activity.

Whether you wish to reflect on your placement experiences, honour someone affected by cancer, or simply take a mindful break from studies, you are warmly welcome to join.

All materials will be provided, and the session is completely free to attend. Ticket link: https://www.liverpoolguild.org/ents/event/7128/
