Solid Golf with Adrian Fryer

Well what a fantastic culmination to a brilliant week with a great crowd enjoying the 2026 Pro Am 🇬🇷⛳️

Everyone enjoyed a well presented golf course, superb hospitality at the club and ,time in the Old Town and well run event by golf holiday specialists

Scoring was excellent in the team and individual Pro events. Congrats to Daryl Ley and his Boys team winning the 3 round stableford event 🏆👏👏and own Kelly taking the individual honours with rounds of -1 -1 and -4 around this challenging course.

Along with my team and party we had a blast on this idyllic isle 🇬🇷and although we didn’t threaten the leaders we still enjoyed some good golf learning to navigate Corfu’s only course.

Despite playing off the back pegs because of age bracket, I was pleased to break par-1 on the last day as the course is no pushover from the tips and the fun continued with the Pro and Am Golden Shot event to finish.

The event culminated with the prize giving hosted by Neil Reeves Director Of Golf and excellent , a brilliant buffet, local musicians and ended a perfect week in the Sun ☀️ ✈️🇬🇷😎⛳️
Everyone already signed up to next year and looking forward to another and even bigger event hosted by Professional ! 👍🇬🇷⛳️👏

We’ve not set the scoring alight but played respectable golf and everyone involved is thoroughly enjoying the golf course, great test, particularly off the back pegs.

Food, accommodation transfers and facilities first class plus we’ve also had time to enjoy Corfu Town, The Old Town and even a bit of plane ✈️spotting too from nearby bar.

The wall to wall sunshine🌞, great accommodation and dining along with the organisation from and the golf club team plus Julie from means this is going an enjoyable week for all the professionals and amateurs supporting this event.👌⛳️

Bit of a throwback for me yesterday when visiting to play against my lad in the 3rd of our ‘Monthly Medal’ series on his popular YouTube channel.

In the mid 1970’s I had a small Saturday job helping in the Pro Shop during a bleak Winter, however pleased to say on several visits back over the years, the weather’s been better and course has always been beautifully presented👏⛳️

This lovely course on the outskirts of North Manchester is always in good condition and has a brilliant mix of tough par 4’s, short tricky par 4’s, challenging par3’s and a little respite on the 5’s!

Enjoyed a day away from my super busy schedule and another hard fought ‘needle’ match in the series💪⛳️ follow his channel for the latest battle!🏌️‍♂️⛳️

Had great morning catching up with top putting guru and one of respected team this morning

Triggered on the back of a particular poor putting episode in one of our ongoing matches against my YouTuber son we joked about recruiting Phil and his team to save me!! 🙏

Well I have to say I was not disappointed one bit🤜🏻👏
Lee has an eclectic knowledge of coaching and putting and in between me talking his ears off bout coaching he managed to exactly pin point the source of my inconsistency plus the impact it had on my stroke.👀🤦‍♂️

More to come on this! But watch out !!💪🤜🏻if I start rolling the rock as has prescribed you’re in for a challenge! 🤜🏻⛳️

Like the full swing, dodgy set up angles triggered all sorts of subconscious stroke and strike adjustments which hopefully will diminish with some new logical set up ‘feels’.🙏

Thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Lee and enjoyed the analysis even more!!

Nice to bump into briefly too, and as mentioned in our podcast a couple of episodes ago, possibly no one coach has had more influence and putting success with Major winners over the last 20 years or so! Top guys 👌👏👏🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

On the back of some fine performances last season it was good to do some online coaching with Indian 🇮🇳protege this week prior to some big events over the next couple of weeks.👌🇮🇳

Anshul is competing this week in the event at the , Haryana, India then onto the prestigious at the fabulous Golf & Country Club New Dheli.

We achieved some good results tightening his shot shape and producing a powerful reliable fade when necessary

Never short of power but always refining his technique and together with the short game work he’s done with and putting with he’s in very good shape with his game.

Of course it’s a steep learning curve competing at this level, but this 21 year old has the firepower and patience to contend over the next few weeks🙏💪⛳️

Always rewarding helping him remotely online and I’ll look forward to his next long haul visit to the UK 👏👏⛳️

Although a regular on the I’m hoping he can grow in confidence the next few weeks competing against the best on 🇮🇳⛳️👌🏌️‍♂️
