Today, Chief Angus Chukuemeka once again represented the Liverpool Commonwealth Association as the wreath layer during the Service of Remembrance at St George’s Hall. It is essential for the Liverpool Commonwealth Association to be one of the honored wreath layers at this annual commemorative service, paying tribute to the Commonwealth soldiers who gave their lives in service.

Dear LCA Friends and Family,
As we embrace the festive season, I would like to take this opportunity to extend warm Christmas greetings to all who celebrate this joyous occasion. Christmas is a time of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness - values that resonate deeply within the spirit of the Commonwealth of Nations.
At its core, Christmas embodies the principles of compassion, generosity, and community. It reminds us to open our hearts to those in need, fostering a sense of kinship that transcends borders. In the Commonwealth, we celebrate our diversity while uniting as a family, sharing a commitment to peace, mutual respect, and understanding.
As we gather with loved ones during this time, let us also remember those in our communities who may be struggling. The spirit of giving is not only about exchanging gifts but also about sharing kindness and support. Together, we can embody the Commonwealth’s values of solidarity and cooperation, ensuring that everyone feels included and valued.
This Christmas, may we all find joy in our connections with one another and inspire hope for a brighter future. Let us carry the spirit of Christmas into the New Year, fostering a LCA extended community where love, understanding, and unity prevail.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas filled with peace and goodwill.
Warm regards,
Garth Dallas
Chair, on behalf of the Board of Trustees
