We know how hard our work throughout their studies juggling full time employment, study and family and personal lives. Some students really go above and beyond in their studies too so this year we asked our tutors to nominate someone from their classes last year who deserved to be given the title of Law Academy Star Student 2021 – 2022.

The competition was really strong and in the end we could only narrow it down to 2 students who have consistently worked really hard, always contribute to the online classes and are willing to engage with and help other learners if needed.

Well done Rebecca Grosvenor and Niamh Maxwell. You are our 2021 – 2022 Star Students and we hope you’ll continue to shine throughout the remainder of your studies with us.

One of our tutors doing extra online tutorials during the lockdown has said"Rather than paying me for these extra lessons, could you please make a donation to a local charity, like the food bank or a homeless shelter." Lovely gesture,we will be donating his pay to 2 local charities

Our online sessions start from today. We're all looking forward to embracing our new teaching methods and enabling our students to stay safe and keep learning while everyone should stay at home.

Important update
We have taken the decision that our face to face class sessions will be suspended with immediate effect (16th March)

This is to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, staff and tutors and has not been made lightly.

We will be commencing our online tutorial sessions from Monday 23rd March until 20th April at which time the current situation will dictate further action.

Our online tutorials and class microsites will ensure our students can continue to be taught and access learning throughout this difficult time.

All students are currently being contacted by email with the details.

We take the health and safety of our staff, students and tutors very seriously.

For now,we are following the Government guidelines and would ask everyone who attends the Law Academy to do the same.

If you have any symptoms or have recently returned from any of the areas on the Government website, please do get in touch with us immediately by phone or email to discuss. Equally, if your main place of work implement any special measures for working, please inform us straight away.

We do have plans in place in the event we are forced to suspend face to face lessons temporarily to enable remote lessons and learning to continue.

We are also monitoring any guidance set out by CILEx regarding studying or the exams in June.

Updates will be posted on our website news blog and on our social media and students will be contacted via email and text for specific group information.
