Our Inventors children have been exploring Space. They had so much fun making rockets, singing space songs and learning all about astronauts 👩‍🚀🌎🪐💫⭐️

As part of Black History Month, our children have been talking about Kente Cloth, we have been very creative over the last couple of days making our own Kente Cloth pictures.

Kente Cloth has its origin with Ashanti Kingdom, and was adopted by people in the Ivory Coast and many other West African counties, it is a Royal and sacred cloth, worn only in times of extreme importance and was the cloth of Kings.

The children had a lovely time with their parents at our stay and play session. The session was to increase awareness of shapes and patterns within our environment. This is a project being run by school improvement Liverpool and being led by Gabby, one of our practitioners. We are looking forward to our next one 🟡🔹🟥🩷

Discoverers have been celebrating 'Talk like a Pirate day' today. They have been practising Pirate language such as, 'Ahoy matey, Ahoy me hearties and all hands on deck'. They made their own hats, telescopes and treasure maps ready for their treasure hunt in the garden. 🏴‍☠️☠️
