If you are passionate about the topics mentioned in the post, then what better way to express them than joining ProChoice Society. Each member makes this society better, with there not being a ‘right’ person to join. If you hold the view that women should be able to make their own decisions about their bodies, then that is a perfect reason to join! You’ll be joining a fun, friendly society who hosts a wide variety of social nights every/most weeks, and at the same time, you’ll take part in important decisions we make, through our AGM meetings, but also everyday, with general discussions with other members! We can’t wait to meet you! 💕

After starting out as our Social Media Officer last year and moving up to the role of Vice President, Jay is back for another year of campaigning, awareness raising and taking it too far in Level on a Wednesday. We cannot wait to see what he has in store for the society this year 🩷🩷

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

As a Pro-Choice Society, we stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ communities and recognise that the fight for equality, bodily autonomy, and reproductive justice is interconnected.

This July, Liverpool Pride returns with an incredible weekend of celebrations:
✨ Friday 24th July – Official Opening Party at the M&S Bank Arena featuring Sugababes, Beth Ditto, Bimini, Tia Kofi, Horse Meat Disco, and more.
✨ Saturday 25th July – The Pride March through Liverpool city centre, followed by the Community Expo and free festival programme at the Liverpool Experience Campus.
✨ Saturday 25th July – Official after-parties across the Pride Quarter, including SWITCH Liverpool Pride After-Party at Quarry.

Whether you’re marching, celebrating, or showing your support, Pride is a reminder that everyone deserves the freedom to live authentically and make decisions about their own body and future. 🌈

From our first meetings to our final events, this year has been full of creativity, chaos, late-night planning, unforgettable memories, and the most amazing people. Thank you to everyone who came to socials, supported us, shared their ideas, and helped make this society what it is.

To our committee, thank you for all the hard work behind the scenes, the dedication, and the laughs along the way. And to every member, volunteer, and supporter you made this year special. 🤍

after two years it’s time for me to say goodbye to pro-choice society 💜

what started as a small idea between me and ev just the two of us hoping to make even the slightest difference became something that has truly meant everything to me i never imagined how much this society would grow or how many incredible people it would bring into my life

this hasn’t just been a role or a responsibility it’s been something i’ve poured my heart into every conversation every event every moment of support and solidarity has shaped this into a space i’m endlessly proud of watching it become a community where people feel heard empowered and understood is something i’ll carry with me for a long time

it’s time to pass this on to someone new to give them the same opportunity me and ev had to build to grow and to make it their own

thank you to everyone who has supported us stood with us and believed in what we were trying to create you are the reason this society is what it is

i’m so grateful for everything this has given me and i’ll always be rooting for everything it continues to become 💜
