I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Neil .com_pooloflife for his podcast. We had a great chat and it always feels a little self indulgent talking about myself but I love what I do, so I could have easily chatted forever. You can find it on all the usual podcast places but I here are 2 links. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/neil-meekin-the-pool-of-life-podcast-episode-3/id1830281864?i=1000729342556 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCvTYMipSO4 . Hope you enjoy it , and check out Neil’s page as his work is so interesting , there is a lot of crossover in our work and being able to chat about all this, was great for someone like who flys solo in work and is in a relatively unknown industry, so if you are intrigued to find out more, give it a listen

A few years ago, a client came to me in tears.
Her anxiety was overwhelming, and her body carried constant tension.

We worked gently together every other week… and slowly things shifted.
✨ She could breathe more fully
✨ She stayed calmer under stress
✨ She stopped reacting in her old patterns

When pain showed up, we combined Clinical Somatics + SE — and together uncovered a long-held freeze response. By moving through it safely, her pain released and she felt more alive than ever.

Healing isn’t always quick, but it is possible.
Step by step, your nervous system can find ease again.

💌 I’m currently offering a 3-session SE package £180 to help you start you r explorations. Packages of 6 and 12 also available for better value. If you’re ready to begin, message me — I’d love to help.

So if you have an achey neck, shallow or restrictive breathing, a tight core or lots of stress… or maybe your just curious, join me online on Monday 2pm to feel what this class can do for you. Recordings available. £34 for the series . ✨ Wellness Wednesday ✨
That mid-week slump can be a back breaker — sometimes quite literally if you’re holding on to stress or working a physical job.

Wednesdays can also feel emotionally heavy, with the freedom of the weekend still out of reach.

So, for every 1:1 Somatic Experiencing (SE) or Clinical Somatics session booked on a Wednesday, I’m offering a FREE 15-minute somatic breathwork session for nervous system recovery.

🌬️ Give yourself space and time to energise, relieve tension, or recover balance.

📅 Book online via the link in my bio or DM me to reserve your spot.
Evening appointments available upon request.

Got back pain? This is a quick fly by video on 2 movements that can help.. link in bio for the free videos and resources section of my website that has full breakdown of these movements- head to the green light section and its videos 1 & 2 👍🏼 if you try them, have fun and hope they bring you some back pain relief. Remember.. this is a somatic practise, so we pandiculate, that means it’s a tightening of the muscles just so you can feel it. The magic is in the slow release and then complete rest/ melt. Let everything go before starting again. Thank you to the beautiful for the collab 💛

Ever wondered how we work with the vagus nerve in somatics?
Through both movement and therapy, we support the nervous system by creating safety. This means allowing the discomfort of past states to be felt and acknowledged — so they can be released — helping your system return to a sense of balance and safety.

This isn’t always a quick process. Depending on your personal experiences, it may take months, sometimes longer if the patterns go back many years. It also depends on what you’d like to achieve and how long you choose to work with it.

The good news is that the process begins to make a difference right away. As your nervous system shifts, you’ll notice changes in how you feel, think, and respond to life. From a place of safety and connection, we naturally process challenges and experiences differently — with more flexibility and resilience.

If you’d like to explore how Somatic Experiencing® can support you, I’d be happy to chat. I also offer a free 30-minute session if you’re genuinely curious about trying this powerful work.

LAST COUPLE OF SPACES LEFT- clinical somatic movement workshop 14th June 10.30-12.30pm at the scout Hut, Mossley Hill, £50 pp. We work on lengthening muscles and loosening tension to help dissolve pain and keep your mobility as supple and free as possible. We learn about our own movement patterns , what your SMA is ( sensory motor amnesia) and how we can pandiculate all that pain and tension away. Link to book https://wix.to/qeJ2v70 or DM for more info. No age or ability limits, this is for everyone and if your currently experiencing pain, that’s ok, it’s the perfect time to discover clinical somatics

We’re often told to “stretch” or “strengthen” when we feel tight, restricted, or in pain. But what if your brain is what needs rewiring from re-learning how to connect and use your muscles again, allowing you to feel them activate but then focus on the relaxation when you choose to stop tensing and allow them to melt and let go. In clinical somatics we call this a PANDICULATION.

Clinical Somatics is a powerful, slow movement practice that helps release long-held tension from the inside out — by changing the way your nervous system controls your muscles. No stretching, just lengthening and release.

It’s especially helpful for chronic pain, posture issues, and movement difficulties caused by injury or stress or prolonged tension held in the body. But most importantly it’s really gentle and suitable for anyone.

I currently have space for 1:1 sessions online or in person:
🟡 3 sessions for £195
🟡 6 sessions for £370 (ideal for long-term patterns)

DM me if you’re curious about how this could help you — or https://wix.to/heEwMqB to book
