πŸŽ–οΈ Cadets Training πŸŽ–οΈ

Our Cadets have been hard at work developing their skills through Skill at Arms training, demonstrating impressive discipline, focus and professionalism throughout. As part of their training, all cadets successfully achieved Marksmanship Badges at a range of levels, recognising their growing competence, concentration and commitment to mastering new skills.

A huge congratulations to those cadets who have recently been promoted from Cadet to Lance Corporal. This promotion reflects their leadership, dedication and the example they set for others within the contingent.

We are incredibly proud of all our cadets and look forward to seeing their continued growth and success.

Being recognised as an IQM Centre of Excellence means a school has demonstrated outstanding inclusive practice and is recognised nationally as a leader in inclusion. It is awarded to schools that go beyond meeting the needs of students and actively champion an environment where every child can thrive, regardless of their background, starting point or individual needs.

As a Centre of Excellence, we are committed to: β€’ Ensuring every student feels valued, supported and included
β€’ Removing barriers to learning and participation
β€’ Sharing best practice with other schools to improve inclusion across the wider education community
β€’ Continuously developing our provision to meet the needs of all learners
β€’ Promoting equality, belonging and opportunity for every young person

For students and families, it means being part of a school where inclusion is not just a policy, but a culture. It means high expectations for all, personalised support when needed, and a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential.

We are incredibly proud of this recognition, which reflects the dedication of our staff, students and families in creating a school where everyone belongs and everyone can succeed.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Year 7 Catering πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

Our Year 7 students have been busy making rock cakes in Catering, developing a range of valuable culinary skills along the way. Students practised accurate weighing and measuring, mixing techniques, food hygiene, safe use of kitchen equipment and following a recipe independently.

As well as creating some delicious bakes, they also developed organisation, teamwork and attention to detail, important skills both in and beyond the kitchen. πŸͺ
