Carl & Tom 🧬📐

Double the success! Carl and Tom aced their exams, with Carl achieving an incredible score of 79 points and Tom securing 73 - plus a Distinction each in Extended Maths! Both are staying at Caldies Sixth Form to take on the ultimate STEM line-up: Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Tom is eyeing a future in Medicine, while Carl is keeping his career options open! 👨‍⚕️🔬

A stellar sweep of Grades 7, 8, and 9, including top marks in French and Art & Design! Holly is heading to Carmel College to study Film Studies, French, and either Art or English Literature. Eibhleann ✈️📚

Talk about dedication! Eibhleann flew all the way back from Derry just to collect her results in person, before flying straight back the same day to celebrate with family! She absolutely smashed her exams and is returning to Caldies Sixth Form to take on Maths, Further Maths, English Literature, and Psychology. What a journey! 🌟👏

Teddy 🧠⚡

Outstanding results! Teddy achieved a phenomenal set of grades including six Grade 9s, two Grade 8s, and a Distinction in Further Maths! He’s staying with us at Caldies Sixth Form to study Chemistry, Physics, History, and Maths. Huge congratulations, Teddy! 🏆

Laila was absolutely chuffed with her results, including an 8 in French! She’s heading to The City of Liverpool College to take on a T-Level in Childcare and Education. Both achieved impressive results yesterday, with a sweep of 6-8s for Alex and 7-9s for Liv! Both are staying on at Caldies; Alex is aiming for Dentistry with Biology, Chemistry, Maths & History, while Liv is keeping her options open with Sociology, History, Politics & Philosophy. Given her brilliant work on our school magazine, maybe journalism is in her future? 📰 🦷

✨ RECORD-BREAKING RESULTS! ✨

An electric morning! 2025 was a record-breaking year for Y11 exam results at Calderstones, but our incredible 2026 cohort has gone even further! 🏆🔥

These hard-working students have achieved our best-ever outcomes:

🌟 Over 250 Grade 8s and 9s (up from almost 200 last year and 135 in 2024!)

🌟 Almost 490 grades at Grade 7 or above (up from 420 last year and 283 in 2024!)

A huge shoutout to our incredible Heads of Year 11, Amy and Earl, and all the staff and family members involved, for guiding this year group to landmark success! 👏❤️

A special mention must also go to our brilliant departments for some exceptional subject performances this year:

🏛️ History: Came out right on top with an incredible 12 top Grade 9s!

🎨 Art: An outstanding 44% at Grade 7 or above, with 89% achieving Grade 5+!

🎵 Music: 42% at Grade 7 or above, and 84% achieving Grade 5+!

🧬 Biology: 41% at Grade 7 or above, with 72% achieving Grade 5+!
