Shine Theatre School

We are beyond excited to announce our upcoming Shine Theatre School production, a special one-day-only event bringing together every corner of Shine in a celebration of talent, creativity and performance.

This special production will take place at the beautiful Epstein Theatre, a historic and atmospheric venue that has been at the heart of Liverpool’s theatre scene for generations. Performing on its stage is a real privilege and an inspiring experience for our dancers.

Every member of Shine Theatre School is invited to take part in this incredible production.

Rehearsals begin in October within regular classes, so everyone will be part of the journey from the very start.

Tickets will be on sale from 1st October
£20 Adults
£15 Concessions (children under 12 and OAPs)

This is more than a performance. It is a celebration of creativity, connection and inspiration, set in one of the city’s most beautiful and historic theatre spaces.

It’s been a very interesting morning - as I was honoured to be invited as a guest on for a conversation about my lived experience as a dancer, dance teacher, and all the weird and wonderful things in between that are related to my experience of dance.

It is not every day you get asked to contribute - for a wider audience to hear.

Open conversations, sharing our take and experience on things are both so important to help us all evaluate, elevate and develop our professional practice.

People often see the classes, the performances, the photographs and the achievements.

What they don't always see is everything those moments represent.

The courage it took to walk through the door for the first time.

The determination to keep going when something felt difficult.

The friendships built along the way.

The confidence that grows little by little, week after week.

Shine Theatre School is about so much more than what happens in a class.

It's about creating a place where children and adults who come to class with us feel supported, encouraged and valued.

A place where they can be themselves, challenge themselves and discover what they're capable of.

We celebrate the big achievements, but we treasure the quieter moments too—the first time a student of ours believes in themselves, finds their voice, makes a new friend or steps on stage with confidence.

Every student who joins us becomes part of the Shine family, and watching them grow is the most rewarding part of what we do.

Thank you for trusting us, supporting us and allowing us to be part of so many journeys.

Join us for an exciting full-day Dance Fusion CAMP, designed to develop versatile, confident dancers through a dynamic mix of styles and creative activities.

Throughout the day, dancers will take part in Street/Commercial, Jazz, and Contemporary classes, alongside dedicated flexibility and technique training to support strength, control, and performance quality. We will also include fun crafts sessions, giving dancers time to relax, express creativity, and enjoy a well-rounded camp experience.

This is a high-energy, inspiring environment where dancers will learn new choreography, develop performance skills, and build confidence in a supportive setting.

Important Information:
This is a full-day camp, so all participants must bring their own refreshments and a packed lunch. Please ensure dancers also bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
