At the monthly brunch on Friday Lol Sinclair suggested that I should post a few snaps he took at the Old Boys Dinner in December.
So here they are.
Lol tells me that he's already putting the framework of the 2026 magazine together, so if anyone has anything to contribute please contact Lol directly at [email protected]

December update:
About a dozen of us met for breakfast at the Liver on Friday. There is still some hope of a return to 'school' in the spring if the bistro reopens? But nobody knows if this may happen atm.
There were ca. 45 of us at the Annual Dinner last night.
The meal still represents good value for money & the Presidents address by Andrew Lovelady was perfect in terms of content & length. As usual it was good to see & chat with old chums.
However the diminishing number of attendees reminds us that we are not getting any younger even if some of us have a mindset that's still in the halcyon days of the 70's 😆

December update:
1) Thirteen of us met up for breakfast at the Liver Hotel on Friday morning. We are settled there for the forseeable future but retain the hope that at some point we may be able to return to school.
2) There was a rumour of a rival breakfast meet in St John's Road on Thursday? We suggest that those involved may wish to come & join the rest of us on the first Friday of the month? (Alternately we could gatecrash your event, 🤣😂🤣😂as many of us gained experience in this tactic at parties in the 70's.)
3) Saturday saw the 85th annual dinner take place at WLGC. Around 60 attended. We understand that mortality will steadily take it's toll on potential new attendees however I believe we had a couple of first timers? Personally I was glad to chat to Brian Godfrey from the '66-71 cohort who I'd not seen for 53 years.
4) Website is still down. (Lol looking for help to reinstate)
5) Next breakfast Friday 3rd Jan 10am.
6) Finally compliments of the season to all old boys & their families. See you in 2025!
