The Tulip children have been engaging in lots of 'All about Me' activities. This morning the Tulip children have been using the paintbrushes and their fingers to brush away the rice and glitter to reveal pictures of themselves and their friends. The children talked about whom we could see in the pictures. The activity helped with the children's personal, social and emotional development.

The Snowdrop children have loved their animal tuff tray activity this morning. They practiced naming all of the animals and the sounds that they make. The children explored the different textures and learning new words such as ''crunchy'' for when the animals stood on the cornflakes.

The Tulip children love their new story of the month ‘’We are all different’’. The children have been carrying out lots of activities to enhance their sense of self and finding out what makes them different to their friends. The children enjoyed looking in the mirrors with then creating their own personal portrait!

The Snowdrop children have been exploring different textures creating mix bowls. The children enjoyed the sensory experience of sticking the spaghetti sticks into the jelly. The children found the jelly very funny as it wobbled. The children enhanced their gross motor skills with the spoons by collecting the oats and then tipping them out into the mix bowls.

Our Tulip children have been learning so much about themselves lately. The Tulips have been enhancing their understanding of the different emotions they may feel throughout the day. The children love to use their amazing art skills to draw and talk about the emotions monsters. The activities focus was for the children’s personal, social and emotional development.

Our Buttercup babies have had so much fun being mini musicians this morning. They have been learning to shake the instruments up and down and they loved listening to all of the different sounds. The activity was to enhance the children's listening and attention development! 🪇🪘🥁

The Tulip's have had an amazing time washing the big trucks with soapy bubbly flannels. The children have been learning the words such as ''squeeze'' and ''rinse'' through the car wash themed activity!
