Primary Tutor (KS2)
Location: Woolton Tuition, Woolton Village, Liverpool
Hours: Two evenings per week, 4:00pm-7:00pm
Pay: £25 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and engaging Primary Tutor to join the team at Woolton Tuition.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children build confidence, develop a love of learning and achieve their full potential in a supportive small-group environment.
The Role
You’ll teach small groups of primary-aged children (maximum of four pupils) across Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality maths and English tuition tailored to each child’s individual needs.
Essential Requirements
* Experience teaching or tutoring children across Key Stage 2.
* Strong knowledge of the primary maths and English curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, encouraging and nurturing approach.
* Ability to adapt teaching to suit a range of learning styles and abilities.
* Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
* Experience working with children with SEND.
* Experience preparing pupils for 11+ / entrance examinations (e.g. Bluecoat, Belvedere or similar).
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring experience.
