This Lone Star rarely sees the light of day

And just like that, 10 years of teaching patchwork and quilting is over. Honestly the best working years of my life with amazing women who I am proud to call my friends. They succeeded today in making me blub and laugh in equal measure while celebrating and sharing gifts, food and drink. It's not the end just a change as I move into the next phase of life , stay with me ladies x

Such a privilege to lead a workshop at , everyone worked really well and completed a wine bottle gift bag, drawstring gift bag and fabric crown.

My teaching memory quilt. Not sure which way is up yet. It features many of the techniques I've taught over the last 10 years as I edge closer to retirement next month. I will enjoy quilting this and aim to show it next year.

Treasure Quilters 1 are busy working on the last projects with me, I'm so happy they are making plans to continue next year as a club. Hopefully I get invited to join them !

First class back for the new term. Wonderful to see such incredible work in show and tell, the future is safe. We started bargello projects and had fun arranging the colours.

Back down to earth and time to finish my quilt without edges,could use some more quilting but it's fine for now.

On the train en route to Birmingham NEC for awards ceremony at festival of quilts. Talk about surprised to get invite. Stay tuned for results later.

Waterloo quilters recently hosted .rayment so today I ran the session with members who had purchased Jennys books. We worked on her gorgeous folded fabric cushion and they all look great.
