🎆 Fireworks Fun at Nursery! 🎨

This week, our wonderful minis have been exploring the magic of colours in celebration of Fireworks Night! From crafting their own dazzling rockets to decorating breadsticks with chocolate and sprinkles, it’s been a week full of sparkle, creativity, and giggles.

🐵 We also welcomed a very special new friend — Marvin the Monkey! Marvin has been spending time with our Star of the Week, who earned the title for being so kind and helpful. We can’t wait to hear all about Marvin’s adventures and the fun they’ve had together.

🌟 With so many shining stars in our nursery, choosing next week’s Star of the Week won’t be easy… every one of our minis is a superstar in their own way!

🎃👻 Spooky Fun and Learning for our Cheeky Monkeyz 🐛🕷️

Our little explorers had a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween today! Dressed in their cutest and creepiest costumes, the children dove into a world of fun and discovery.

🦋 We combined festive cheer with hands-on learning as the children used finger tweezers to carefully pick up pretend insects—boosting their fine motor skills while learning about creepy crawlies!

🥚🏃‍♂️We also did an egg and spoon race this week, we had everyone giggling and cheering as they balanced their way to the finish line.

We loved seeing the joy and excitement on every little face!

🍂 Autumn Creativity in Full Swing! 🎨

Our nursery children have been embracing the spirit of autumn through vibrant finger painting and bubble wrap art! From swirling reds, greens and golds to crunchy textures under tiny fingers, these activities aren’t just fun—they’re full of learning.

🖐️ Why it matters:
- Finger painting helps develop fine motor skills and encourages self-expression.
- Bubble wrap painting introduces sensory play, letting children explore textures while learning about colours and patterns.

We love watching their imaginations bloom 🍁

🧸 Relaxation and Mindfulness Moments

Alongside our creative autumn art, the children have been enjoying calming sessions with Yoga Bears and exploring our sensory room.

✨ Why it matters:
- Yoga Bears helps children develop body awareness, balance, and emotional regulation through gentle movement and breathing.
- Sensory room play supports self-soothing, focus, and exploration—especially important for building confidence and managing big feelings.

These peaceful moments are just as valuable as our messy ones, helping children grow in every direction.

🧘🎶🎨🚗👃📚🌿🍫 Mini Monkeys Round-Up!

What a busy few weeks it’s been! Our little Monkeys have been busy exploring, creating, and giggling their way through a jam-packed schedule of fun:

🧘‍♀️ Yoga Bears Visit – We stretched, balanced, and breathed with our special guests from Yoga Bears! The children loved moving their bodies and calming their minds through playful poses and bear-themed yoga adventures.

🖌️ Tray Painting & Car Wash Fun – Our mini Monkey artists got messy with paint and water, turning trays into masterpieces and giving our toy cars the cleanest ride in town. We also explored painting various boxes and learning about shapes.

👀 Exploring Our 5 Senses – We sniffed, touched, tasted, listened, and looked our way through that sparked curiosity and wonder.

📖 Story Time – Imagination soared as we dove into tales of adventure, friendship, and discovery during story sessions.

🌳 Outdoor Adventures – From nature hunts to building towers, we soaked up the fresh air and sunshine with plenty of active play.

🍯 Messy Mud Kitchen Mayhem – Mud pies, leafy soup, and a sprinkle of imagination made for deliciously messy fun in our outdoor kitchen.

Not every rainbow baby makes it home.

People think the storm ends when you finally see those two pink lines after loss.
They think the pain stops when hope returns.

But sometimes… it doesn’t.

Sometimes, you plan a nursery you’ll never rock a baby in.
You pick out names you’ll never whisper at 2 a.m.
You buy tiny clothes that will never be worn.

You imagine first cries… first breaths… first cuddles,
and instead, you’re met with silence.

No one talks about the moms who never get to bring their rainbow home.
The ones who prayed, hoped, and loved so deeply…
only to have their hearts shattered all over again.

To the mothers still waiting for their rainbow…
To the ones holding theirs tightly…
And to the ones who carry their rainbows only in their hearts,

I see you.
I honor you.
I grieve with you.

Today is National Rainbow Baby Day.
For many, it’s a day of celebration.
But for others… it’s a day of remembrance.
For the rainbows who never made it home.

You are not alone.
