From making Liverpool your home away from home to hearing “lad” and “mate” approximately 500 times a day (you’ll get used to it 😂), your university experience is about to be full of unforgettable moments.

✈️ Arriving in Liverpool this September? We’ve got you covered!

New international students joining LJMU can take advantage of our FREE airport pick-up service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester International Airport during our September welcome events.

🚗 Drop-offs are available to Liverpool postcode areas L1–L8, L13–L15 and L17–L19.

📅 Remember to book at least 3 days before you arrive and enter your exact flight landing time so our team can arrange your transfer.

🎟️ How to book: Log in to the LJMU Applicant Hub using your LJMU Student ID: @ and complete the ‘Airport Pickup’ request form.

Haven’t used the Applicant Hub before? Simply select ‘Create new password’ on the login page to get started.

Studying Computer Science, Building a Future 💻

For Mohammed, studying in the UK was about more than earning a degree. Originally from India, he chose Liverpool John Moores University for a Computer Science course combining academic knowledge with practical, career-focused experience.

From developing skills in data, AI and software engineering to the opportunity to complete a paid placement year, Mohammed is building the experience needed for a future in tech.

Outside his studies, he’s found a city he can see himself building a future in, with Liverpool’s vibrant student community and growing digital sector.

Now, as an LJMU International Student Ambassador, Mohammed is helping other students make the leap to studying abroad.
