Active TT is a tutoring company that provides primary, secondary, examination preparation and special learning needs education. We enable people outside of a conventional educational set up to access to the curriculum in a fun, interactive, safe and caring environment. We do this around people’s individuals needs…

GCSE’s 2021!! Our achievements so far are a 99% eleven plus selective school pass rate since Active TT was founded in 2006. We have OFSTED Grade 1 outstanding teachers, who alongside tutors deliver a broad range of GCSEs and A Levels: English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Drama and Theatre Studies and Dance. What’s the cost? We have two different price points depending on whether you want a teacher or a tutor to provide tuition at you at primary and secondary levels, as well as pricing for small group tutoring and special offers exclusive to past and present students of Active TT.

£42 per hour, 1-2-1 with qualified teacher
£25.00 1-2-1 with experienced Tutor
£16 per hour, small group rate with Qualified Teacher



What does the TT stand for? It stands for tuition and training. Tuition is what we provide seven days a week, in person and online. As for training, we are proud of being able to support young people starting their journey as educators by giving them practical experience as junior tutors. By giving them a contract of employment rather than short unpaid placements, they have a realistic working environment and learn about meeting professional expectations. As our tutors come from a variety of backgrounds, we share skills and seek to continue learning and training to improve our standards – for example two members of staff are currently completing TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course.
