Principal Jill Davies is delighted with a magnificent set of GCSE results at Liverpool Life Sciences UTC.

"We are a UTC that specialises in sciences, so a 100% pass rate in Biology and Physics and a 97% pass rate in Chemistry is phenomenal.

"We want our children to do really well in sciences. The country is crying out for leading scientists, and we're overjoyed that they're realising their potential at our school.

Harjith and Harish will both be returning to UTC in September to study Engineering and are happy with their grades! 🎊🥳

"I really like UTC. There are more career pathways and it offers a great chance to get some real-world experience," Harjith says.

"I like the teachers here," adds Harish. "They're so kind and have helped me so much."

Isabella joined us in Year 10, and after a fantastic set of grades (7s and above in all GCSEs), she'll be coming back in September to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

Achieving 8s and 9s, Imran's going to be coming back to us in September to study Maths, Further Maths, Engineering and Physics.

Ted joined us in Year 9 through Ignite, and is heading to Myerscough College & University Centre to study rugby 🏉 💪

Ted's happy with his results after working really hard all year, he's done really well. "I really enjoyed my time here at UTC. As long as I'm playing rugby, I'm happy!"

Ted tells us he's looking forward to his first game on September 2nd. We'll be cheering you on, Ted - best wishes for the future!

With five 9s, three 8s and a distinction, Eugene's off to study the sciences and maths to pursue his dream of becoming a Mechanical Engineer.

"UTC has been different to the other schools I've been to - it's been really great, I really enjoyed my time here."
