we are pleased to share that we are supporting KIND Load & Go Logistics | Liverpool with trying to collect 1000 toys for children on the twelve week lead up to Christmas.

our toys drop off box has now arrived so lets work together and make a difference to help those less fortunate than others. one extra little toy in the shopping basket can make a huge impact.

Did you know that Norris Green East has been chosen to take part in the UK Government’s Pride in Place programme?

Pride in Place is a 10-year Government funded project giving communities the power and £20M funding to improve local spaces, support culture, provide new opportunities and boost pride where they live.

A key aim of Pride in Place is that it's resident-led, and that decisions about what the money will be spent on are made by people who actually live and work here.

If you live or work in the area, come along to Norris Green park on Saturday 10th October (between 1 and 3:30pm) to meet the new neighbourhood board, and give your input and ideas.

There will be free food, music and a chance for the community start conversations together about Pride in Place and also get involved in doing a community litter pick with the lads from Central Waste. 

This is just the first of several ways that local people will have the opportunity to get involved; throughout the Autumn there will also be an online survey as well drop-in events in local venues such as the library, Broadway shops, the sports centre, community centres and faith organisations in the area.  More details on those to follow.
