Clearing is OPEN

You might have heard about clearing, but do you understand what it is? Clearing shouldn't be scary; it's an opportunity for you to explore other options and institutions when you fail to meet the conditions (or reject all) of your offers.

Universities and colleges are well prepared each summer for results days, ready to take your calls and support you in finding the right fit for you. Clearing isn't your only option, either. Some students may choose to resit, or complete a foundation course, to support them in entering their ideal choice the next year. Some may decide to take a gap year, travelling or working, before they commit to additional years of HE study.

Whatever your choice, make sure it's the right one for you. Understanding the process and your options is key in making sure results day isn't filled with anxiety!

In Session 1, Student Advocate Olivier worked with students on key metacognitive skills, including Algorithmic Thinking and Decomposition, helping them develop their problem-solving approach in Computer Science.
