Thank you to all involved for making it a great concert last Friday! Special thanks to Guitar/Bass teacher Chris for stepping in to cover some absentees playing and singing a couple of numbers with the school band!

One of our former students Eliana Greer was struck down with Covid Pneumonia in September last year. As well as being an accomplished Pianist for her age she is also a talented singer, dancer, academic high achiever and all round thoroughly beautiful soul that has sadly, due to a list of cruel ongoing long covid symptoms, lost the ability to do all of the those things she loved doing and also basic things that we take for granted like mobility and even being able to sleep for more than a hour or two a night.
The attached video is her recent appearance on BBC radio speaking so eloquently to Naga Munchetty.
I don't usually post things like this on our page but Eli's parents have started fundraising page for her to go to Germany for new treatment that has become available. Today's waiting room ☀️ ☕️
It's been such a rollercoaster of a half term! We welcomed lots of new students and some new teachers too but we've also had lots of disruption with children having to isolate.
As we approach the end of term just a quick reminder that ours doesn't officially end until the end of next week. Guided by the Sefton council website we put down our last day of term as Saturday 24th. This has caused a bit of confusion as we now know a lot of schools in the area are finishing this week.
We will be open again in August reduced hours. Not all of our teaching staff are around but please speak to your teachers about this if you wish to continue or even just do a couple of lessons.
Congratulations to parents for getting through this half term of madness and we hope to see at least some of you in August and if not have a fantastic Summer and fingers crossed for less disruption when we return in September!!
