DCUK Finals at Blackpool 2019!
Well what can we say... it was absolutely fantastic! The 4am early start and the 11pm finish, to the stresses & worries that comes along with the whole competition process... and yesterday our kids shone on that stage and were the strongest they've ever been! We always say its not about winning and the main thing is FUN! Yesterday was filled with so much talent from all schools involved and it was such a tough comp and a pleasure to be apart of such talent...however the results were in and we came away with a UK 1st place trophy for our open troupe section routine with our war dance - 'Our Greatest Men' 🥇🏆 We are absolutely delighted that we have been awarded with such a high award and it's time Upbeat's hard work has been rewarded! We are so proud of what we are becoming I'm the 3 short years of being established and we can't wait for the journey ahead! Thank you to all our chaperones for helping us yesterday, we would truly be lost without you all ❤ Thank you to the 50 odd family members who were able to come and support our team in the audience, you always give the best cheers and to see your proud smily faces makes us burst with pride! Thank you to all our parents for choosing Upbeat and trusting us with your children ❤ Thankyou to our gorgeous dancing stars, who just live for dance and their Upbeat family! You are true professionals and conduct yourselves so well, we had other dance schools tell us how polite you were to their students! This is something to be so proud of 👏👏👏 You kids never fail to make us cry happy tears and you make us so proud every week! ❤ A dance school isn't about winning trophies, that's just the bonus... it's about the hard work, demination and the team work! Yes It's about the triumphs, but it's also about the struggles, it's being their for each other, picking each other up when It's needed and holding each other up to celebrate great wins together! It's about the friendships you form that will become your life long friends and it's such a special experience to share with such a great group of people! 💛🧡❤💙💚
