Have started to rethink my direction of artistic travel. Moving away from over representation to semi-abstraction and eventually abstraction.

An oil preliminary sketch of dockers drinking in their local pub, set in the 1950's, when almost everyone smoked! I may do a bigger more finished painting, based on this one.
