Looking for a simple Halloween activity for your nursery or classroom? These paper plate pumpkins are perfect for little hands!

🎨 Paint a paper plate orange
✂️ Add black paper eyes and a mouth
🌿 Finish with a green paper stalk

Let children choose their own shapes and expressions every pumpkin can have its own personality! It’s a fun way to practise fine motor skills and explore colours and shapes.

Offer pre-cut shapes for younger children and supervise any scissor use.

Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready for your next leadership opportunity? 💙

We’re recruiting for a permanent Nursery Manager to lead a busy Early Years setting in L16.
💰 £32,000–£35,000 DOE
📅 4 or 5 days per week
👶 Setting caring for up to 51 children
👥 Leading a team of around 14 staff
🎓 Level 3 qualification or above required

You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff leadership, safeguarding, EYFS compliance, curriculum quality, budgets, parent relationships and continuous improvement.

Previous senior Early Years management experience is essential.

A primary school in L5 is looking for a calm and patient SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with ASD. 💙

📍 L5
📅 Fridays only
💰 £14.50 per hour
👩‍🏫 Year 5 – 1:1 SEND support

The role will involve building a positive relationship with the pupil, supporting routines and transitions, helping with regulation, adapting learning around sensory and communication needs, and supporting a gradual increase in school attendance.
