I’m not too bad. Just taking one day at a time, keeping my positive mindset as much as I can and always appreciating your little messages of love and support!!!

I’ve not really spoke much or addressed my beautiful Army Fun Day last weekend!! Alan and I are a little lost for words on the total money raised for us and our boys!! Just unbelievable and totally blown away 🙌🏻

I was so anxious to even attend, feeling more and more unrecognisable to myself never mind all the beautiful souls in my life, feeling overwhelmed having not left the house much other than to attend appointments or hospitals and just generally not knowing what to expect.

Anyone that knows me, knows how much I LOVE the sun so the love was evident straight away from that morning when Albie and I ate our breakfast outside and the feeling of warmth on my face give me so much comfort.

Overall the day was completely beautiful ✨💛
I felt all of your love, your positive energy, your prayers your belief in me and I spoke to so many of you which truly warmed my heart. My family and I stayed so much longer than we anticipated all thanks to the wonderful atmosphere surrounding us. My dad summed it up perfectly in his little speech that it was so nice to have a day of normality, to switch off and feel all the love and support.

I don’t have enough words to thank you all. Like I’ve said all along, you are all SO much more than customers to me. This community day has proved this. You are my biggest supporters, fighters and believers and it gives me so much comfort that I’ve got you with me on this whole journey!!!

Whilst I do intend to join tomorrow for a short time with Alan, my boys, my parents and my brother, I’ve just put a few thoughts together for you all to read…

💭 I’m utterly blown away and a little speechless to the organisation, effort, dedication, commitment and love that has been put into this day. Never ever did I envisage a day like this put on for me and my family.

💭 With this being said, I know I’m going to feel soooo overwhelmed and emotional tomorrow so I’ll have my big sunglasses on and there will probably be a lot of tears. This is one of the reasons I’ll probably not stay too long.

💭 As much as I’ll want to hug and cuddle you all, I’m so cautious at the moment to get through each week to have my treatment. I unfortunately couldn’t have it last week due to my temperature being too high 💔💔 I know you’ll all understand that I can’t give hugs 🫶🏻

💭 When I first shared my diagnosis, I asked if you believed in the power of prayer or the power of love to keep me in your thoughts. I can’t even begin to express how much I now believe in this power. I feel surrounded by love, support, strength, protection and the deepest friendships EVER!!!! You’ve no idea how much your love and support means to me. This will keep the fight in me going!!!

These girls have come together, formed new connections and planned this whole event. So so grateful to the three of you and love you so very much 🫶🏻🫶🏻
