🌟 HOW TO CUT FINGER FOOR FOR YOUNG BABIES🌟
give babies soft finger foods from 6 months, at this age babies grasp the food in their fist, so it's best to cut the food into long thin batons about 5-6cm or the length of your little finger.
Around 8-10 months babies develop their pincer grip so you can start cutting food into small pieces. However, avoid foods that could cause choking such as whole grapes, cherry tomatoes, hard round pieces of raw carrot for example.
Other good finger foods are hard boiled eggs, small pasta shapes and cheerios'.
Whether you’re weaning with purees or taking a baby-led approach, finger foods will be an important part of your baby’s feeding journey.
