ππ© Samoa Class have been busy in Food Technology this week making fruit doughnuts!
Students practised safe knife skills and chopping techniques while preparing a variety of fruits. Along the way, they developed their communication skills by discussing their likes and dislikes, showed patience while waiting their turn, and built their independence by confidently completing different stages of the recipe.

Dear Families,
Due to the weather conditions, please note change of term dates:
Secondary Sports Day planned for today (Plan A) will be cancelled and normal lessons will take place on the day. Please ensure appropriate school uniform. We will move to Plan B - Secondary Sports Day will take place on Tuesday, 16 June 2026. We hope to see many of you here for the special occasion.
Primary Sports Day planned for Wednesday, 10 June 2026 will still go ahead as planned. If the grounds are too wet and/or it rains at the time of the planned event, the event will move indoors to the Main Hall. Students are to be dressed in their PE kits and ready for either outdoor or indoor activities. We hope to see many of you here for the special occasion.
Thank you!

Seychelles class spent an inspiring morning exploring their next steps at a Careers Fair! ππΌ
They met with brilliant local colleges, asked fantastic questions, and discovered a wide range of post-16 pathways, including training courses, apprenticeships, and specialist programmes tailored to their interests. From hands-on technical skills to creative arts, they explored so many exciting options for their future.
We are incredibly proud of the confidence, curiosity, and maturity they showed in representing our school and taking ownership of their next steps. πβ¨

We spent time in the small animal petting area before enjoying a fascinating tour of the farm. Students sat beautifully together for their picnic lunch and finished the day with lots of fun exploring the play area.
