Helping you gain clarity on the steps needed to lose weight and increase your self-confidence.

October 2011 was when I embarked on my fitness journey and since then I have been able to change my body in ways that I didn't even think was possible. I was once an overweight and shy 15 year old who had no drive to achieve anything from life. With all that being said I can whole heartedly say that exercise combined with a healthy eating lifestyle has completely changed my life. It is now time fo

Online Coaching 🆚 In Person Sessions - which is better? 👀

This post is inspired by a post from 💪

Many people believe one is better than the other.

When in reality that isn’t true as they are two different services that provide solutions for different goals.

For fat loss it’s more about what you do outside of the gym therefore a big emphasis on behaviour management and accountability is key.

Which is why online coaching works well for fat loss.

Whereas if you goal is skill based and you want to focus on technique and gym confidence then in person sessions are going to be a great choice.

Im not saying there isn’t an overlap.

Of course online coaching can be use for monitoring technique and in person sessions can lead to fat loss.

But you’ve got to admit they have their strengths and weaknesses.

This is why I offer a hybrid approach to coaching.

If you want to lose fat and also work on your technique in the gym then my hybrid program is the one for you.

You pick your online coaching tier and then add any additional in person sessions to create your own unique package.

One that suits you, your needs, your wants, your goals and your budget.

“Conor has made everything so simple and straight forward to understand” - that’s exactly what we want 💪

I posted Laura’s progress photos a few weeks back however I have recently received some in-depth feedback from clients so I had to share.

Laura made, and is still making, incredible progress.

As Laura said In her testimonial she needed knowledge, skills and accountability to finally achieve her goal of losing weight.

Something she had failed at many times in the past.

Laura has not only lost weight but she has also got a much better understanding of nutrition and fitness so that she can’t maintain these results for the long run.

If you’d like to achieve results like Laura then send me a message and we can see what would work best for you 👍

A positive and growth-oriented mindset is your most valuable asset. Embrace these actionable points to create a mindset that helps you achieve your health and fitness goals:

Set Realistic Goals:

Break your long-term objectives into smaller, measurable milestones. Celebrate each accomplishment, regardless of its size, as each step forward reinforces your belief in your abilities.

Embrace the Learning Process:

Embrace both wins and losses as opportunities for growth. When you encounter obstacles, take a step back, assess the situation, and adjust your approach. Cultivate a growth mindset that views every challenge as a chance to refine your skills and become stronger.

Surround Yourself with Support:

Building a supportive network is crucial in your fitness journey. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who share your goals and values. They will provide the encouragement and motivation you need during tough times.

Focus on the Process:

While the end goal is essential, it's the journey that is the most important. Shift your focus from the outcome to the daily habits and actions that pave the way to success. Embrace exercising, making healthier choices, and learning new skills. Keeping a fitness journal helps you reflect on your progress and enables you to appreciate how far you've come.

Practice Self-Compassion:

Be kind to yourself throughout the process. It's natural to face setbacks and deviations from your plan. Instead of beating yourself up, show yourself the same compassion and understanding you would extend to a friend. Learn from your mistakes, and use them as stepping stones to improvement.

Remember, a positive mindset is the driving force behind your fitness success.

I’ve been doing this a long time. So let's talk about setting realistic goals & long term success shall we?

We've all been there, pushing ourselves in the gym, striving for quick wins and instant transformations.

But, let's face it it’s gonna take time.

The secret to long-term success lies in setting achievable, yet ambitious targets.

Let's delve into some practical tips that will help you with common struggles.

1️⃣ Embrace Your Starting Point:

Every journey begins with acknowledging where you are right now. It's easy to get carried away with ambitions, but let's focus on the present.

2️⃣ S.M.A.R.T Goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound

Define your goals with precision and attach a timeline to them. Instead of saying, "I want to lose weight," try "I aim to lose 10 pounds in 3 months through a balanced diet and regular workouts."

See the difference?

3️⃣ Progress, Not Perfection:

Understand that change takes time, and setbacks are natural.

You won't always smash every workout or resist every temptation in your diet. But guess what? It's absolutely okay!

Learn from your experiences, adapt, and keep pushing forward.

Progress, no matter how small, is progress!

4️⃣ Mix It Up:

Don't fall into the monotony trap! Variety is the spice of life, and the same goes for fitness routines.

Switch up your workouts now and again to keep your enthusiasm high. Explore new exercises, classes, or outdoor activities.

5️⃣ Accountability:

Finding a gym partner or a fitness group can do wonders for your motivation. When you have someone cheering you on and keeping you accountable, you'll be less likely to skip workouts or stray from your nutrition plan.

6️⃣ Listen to Your Body:

Remember, rest and recovery are vital for progress. If your body signals fatigue or soreness, don't ignore it. Give yourself the rest you need.

7️⃣ Setbacks:

Inevitably, you'll face challenges along the way. Injuries, life events, or even plateaus can feel disheartening.

Learn from them, adapt your approach, and bounce back.

Dropping body fat whilst recovering from a knee injury. 🙌🏻

Some more coached by con results from my client Stefan. As you can see he dropped a significant amount of body fat which allowed his physique to be showed off.

For Stefan we had to take into account a knee injury that he was recovering from.

This meant exercises selection was important to consider but also how many steps we could do in a day without it impacting his knee.

Due to steps being limited some days, nutrition had to be dialled in to get this result.

If you’d like to achieve a similar result and overcome any problems you might be facing, send me a message today for more information about my services 👌

The choice is yours. So what’s it going to be in 2023?

Are you going to follow the next fad diet and fail again?

Are you going to walk into the gym confused and following a plan that doesn’t suit you?

Are you going to waste a load money on supplements when in reality you don’t half of them?

Or are you going to finally invest in your health and fitness the right way?

Having someone in your corner outlining exactly what you need to do, when you need to do it and keeping you accountable?

As I said the choice is yours.

For any coaching enquiries for the rest of 2022 or 2023 please send me a message!

Yes Yvonne! 🙌🏻 My online client .91 has absolutely smashed her Coached By Con online program 💪

As you can see Yvonne has got herself in an incredible position.

One of Yvonne’s main concerns before starting online coaching was worrying whether she’d be able to commit to the process.

As soon as we outlined a plan that suits her lifestyle it was a piece of cake.

She was consistent and put the work in.

Boss work Yvonne!

Coached By Con 💪 another client who achieved boss results on my coached by con online program.

Dan was already a keen gym goer, the main thing he needed help with was nutrition.

So we outlined a nutrition plan that made sense for him and altered it as we went based on feedback from Dan.

Over the course of 12 weeks we pushed hard to achieve this result. It wasn’t easy, especially the final few weeks but it was worth it 👌

How many of you are in a similar position?

You’re going the gym but not seeing the results you deserve. I’d be pretty confident in saying it’s probably your nutrition that’s letting you down.

So if you’re in need of a solid nutrition plan and someone to hold you accountable then send me a message for more information about my Coached By Con online program 👍

You’re sick of seeing us PT’s say it.

But there is a reason why we do.

We know first hand what it takes to see a change and how we can help people experience those changes too.

Often it is a combination of small changes overtime that leads to one big change.

So if you can make some subtle changes over the next few weeks during the busiest/most social time of the year and still see progress just imagine what you’ll be able to do in 2023.

Even if the progress you make is only small it is still better than nothing.

Developing a solid physique whilst also being diabetic!

Incredible progress from my client John here. I’ve coached John on and off for a while now but as you can tell he’s implemented everything to a T.

By no means am I a doctor so I was in no position to tell John exactly what he can and can’t eat to manage his diabetes whilst going through this.

However through consistent communication and working together we were able to find out what works best for him and tweak little bits as we go.

John is a very data driven person which is fantastic for me as a coach.

He’s willing to track and monitor things which great detail which has helped achieve this result.

Boss work mate 👍
