Loretta Legge Theatre School Theatre School The school was founded in the late 1940’s by Miss Mary Leonard and was formerly known as the Maghull School of Dancing.

Miss Legge began her dance training with Miss Leonard and as a young teenager discovered her love and talent for teaching, in 1986 she became principal and the name was changed to the Loretta legge Theatre School. As the school expanded we moved to our present premises on Liverpool Road North. The standard and reputation of the school grew attracting pupils from an ever increasing area. Miss Legge

introduced dance festivals to the time table and many of the children have won medals, trophies and awards in venues throughout the Northwest. We have 100% examination pass rate in all theatre dance subjects and pupils are regularly nominated through exams with the I.D.T.A to their annual scholarship awards.

Im so so proud of you Kyle 🫶🏼 from the second you arrived you felt like home , what id of done to keep you a little longer, always making us laugh to the point of tears 😭 the world wont know whats hit them ! The most kind down to earth humble human and we miss you so much ! You are always part of LLTS! During our recent examinations 11 of our children qualified for 17 IDTA junior theatre dance awards , this is absolutely outstanding!! And we are extremely proud of the children and the praise and acknowledgment we as a school have been given for such a high standard of teaching knowledge and growth! The junior awards will be held in telford next February 🫶🏼😘👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Its not just learning to dance ! Its teaching confidence, its learning to adapt from a young age , its teaching discipline and nurturing friendships with children who have the same interests and love to dance and perform … its so much more than just dance 💖

My girl has graduated 🥺couldn’t be prouder of you ! You’ve danced 5 days a week and still come to me 5 days plus worked every Saturday!! Now thats dedication and professionalism!!!! You’ve done it so right nikki and I’m so proud of you 👏🏻 well done you! Its all down to being grounded 💪🏼❤️
