We are Liverpool’s newest facility for learning drums and percussion. We provide great lessons, performance opportunities and professional development.
Our courses have been designed to give students a choice in what and how they learn. Some people just want to drum for fun, as a hobby, in a relaxed and easy environment, while some people like strict discipline and focus, with the aim to being a serious, or professional player. At the Liverpool Drum Academy, we assess each student's desires and ability, then recommend the right course and lesson
setting that suits their ambition. All our courses are broken up into 10 week modules, with one lesson per week, and a progress report at the end of each module. The Liverpool Drum Academy uses a number of teaching sources to deliver top notch lesson plans to our students. We primarily use our in house syllabus, but also use other well established industry standard books, exercises and techniques to get the most out of each lesson. PERFORMANCE- After completing one of our intermediate Stick technique and Theory courses, You can join our Performance group and have the opportunity to perform at many exciting events around the country, throughout the year. INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL- Through our partners both home and abroad, there are opportunities to learn and perform in some exclusive locations, such as Brazil, Cuba, Greece, Portugal, Holland, Italy, Martinique and more. MASTER CLASSES- From time to time we will be hosting masterclasses with some of the industries leading players of both kit and percussion, from all around the world. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT- With over 18 years experience in the industry, you will be given advice, knowledge and contacts to help you in perusing a professional career as a musician. SCHOLARSHIPS- We offer free courses (funding pending) to assist budding young drummers to have the opportunity to access quality drum lessons and mentoring, to chase their dream of becoming a drummer and making it a reality.
